Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard has been named one of eight inaugural grantees of the West Chop Community Fund. NHMV was awarded $25,000 to support its mission of enabling elders to stay on the Island and receive skilled nursing care at its Green House homes that will be constructed in Edgartown.
The mission of the West Chop Community Fund is to provide support in the areas of affordable housing; children’s health, welfare and recreation; clean water; education and workforce development; food insecurity; health and aging; and substance use disorders. The fund made eight awards totalling $300,000 in May.
