Mission Statement

The mission of Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard is to enable elders to stay on island and live the most meaningful life possible while receiving superior skilled nursing care in our small house homes.

Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard provides Real Homes with Empowered Staff, both of which will foster Meaningful Life within our homes.

We are passionate about fostering control, dignity, and a sense of well-being for elders, their families, caregivers, and direct care staff.

  • Open House Event – November 29, 2025
Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard is opening its doors to the public! Join us on Saturday, November 29 to tour one of our five small homes, and see firsthand how we are redefining skilled care on the Island.

AARP Foundation supports The small house model because it helps elders keep their best life within reach. Too many older adults face high housing costs, inadequate housing, and isolation – and small houses address those needs. It not only gives older adults a place to live, but also provides stellar care, fosters community, and promotes their personal well-being.
