Under a long-term management agreement, Alliance will oversee the operations of NHMV’s 70 bed Skilled Nursing Care Home in Edgartown. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in ensuring the highest quality of care for Martha’s Vineyard’s senior population, as NHMV and Alliance work together to enhance available care for residents.
Alliance Health is a leading non-profit organization specializing in senior care, and will bring its proven expertise to NHMV. Their team will provide a comprehensive approach to managing daily operations while staying true to NHMV’s mission of delivering personalized, resident-focused care. Alliance operates eight senior living communities, spanning from skilled nursing facilities to rest homes, and is committed to improving the quality of life for residents across all stages of the healthcare continuum.
This commitment to excellence is evident in Alliance’s impressive achievements. The organization consistently outperforms most in Massachusetts’ Center for Medicare & Medicaid’s Star Rating System for nursing homes. Further showcasing their success, five Alliance facilities were honored with the prestigious Silver Award from the American Health Care Association (AHCA) in 2023. In that standout achievement, Alliance claimed nearly all the Silver Award recognitions in the state, with only one other nursing facility receiving the same distinction last year.
